Meet the Pastor
|
Anthony
T. Padovano holds doctorates and
professorships in theology and literature
and has been a visiting professor at
twenty-five American colleges and
universities. He is a founding
member and a distinguished professor of
literature and philosophy at Ramapo
College of New Jersey. Dr. Padovano
was the first elected president of CORPUS,
the National Association for an Inclusive
Priesthood. Since 1986, he has
served as the appointed Catholic pastor of
The Inclusive Community in Nutley, NJ,
where Catholics and Protestants worship
together.
The author of twenty-eight award-winning
books and plays that have been translated
into eight languages, Dr. Padovano is a
popular lecturer around the world and
regularly appears in the media on both
sides of the Atlantic. He presents
occasionally at United Nations Conferences
in New York, Geneva and the Hague. His personal
and professional papers are in the
permanent archives of the University of
Notre Dame.
