While
searching for a new church home some 12
years ago, a dear friend shared a
newspaper article about the Inclusive
Community. How intriguing, a church that
is about uniting.
As a protestant I participated in
communion once a month. Communion is very
meaningful to me. The Inclusive Community
celebrates communion each week.
I am thankful for the diversity of thought
in the world. The Inclusive Community has
a team of clergy allowing for diversity
and varied points of view and focus.
Early in life I internalized the goal of
following Christ throughout the week with
church service being a place to be
inspired and challenged to continue the
attempt to follow Christ. The members of
the Inclusive Community demonstrate this
on going love.
I believe that we are all called to
ministry. The Inclusive Community has
encouraged my ministry.
Yes, in the Inclusive Community I have
found a place that is challenging me to
contribute and grow on my path of faith. I
am most thankful for the newspaper
article, my friend and the group of
wonderful people known as the Inclusive
Community. Happy Anniversary.
